Project Max

Max (a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix) came to Seattle in October 2011. He was not meant to be here, but he was rescued when his good friend Molly -- a shepherd mix -- was rescued by Seattle Sobaka from the high kill shelter in California. She would not leave his side, so Max came to Seattle with her.

When he arrived, he could not walk, was covered in his own waste, and had serious skin and ear infections. You can read more about Max and his amazing journey at his Project Max Blog.

In the meantime, Max has mounting medical costs in addition to his care and feeding. Many of you have followed Max's story and sent much needed prayers and healing energy from far across the world.

If you'd like to donate to Max's journey -- to help offset the mounting costs of helping him achieve a pain-free and healthy life -- any amount will help.

Max thanks you. His care team thank you. He is truly an amazing fellow -- a Tibetan Monk in a Great Pyrenees suit.
